Let me take a moment to catch you up on our move.
Steven took a job that moved us from Birmingham to Louisville during the summer of 2006. It was our first relocation so we had a lot to learn! Fortunately we had great agents who sold our house in Hoover (shout out to Cathy and Leah!) The housing transition was not much fun however. With all of our things in storage we felt a little out of sorts. We lived it up in an Extended Stay America for a few months, then moved into an apartment for a little while. I told many of you (repeatedly I'm sure) about the not-quite-furnished, stinky, one room apartment we lived in for a few months. It was quite interesting.

Of course I could bore you with many more details about the move, but the bottom line is that it all turned out just fine. We looked for houses for months, even made an offer on one, but it didn't work out. Time was ticking and the Lord truly answered our prayers. He led us to a house that met our every wish, never showed up on our searches, and that was able to close the day before our storage deadline came. Amazing huh?! It was truly a lesson that when we give things over to the Lord and truly trust in Him, He will provide! So, we've been in our wonderful home for a little over a year and a half and are loving every minute!
